As a Chicago Fashion and Lifestyle Blogger, I can’t ignore good food. Especially when it’s delivered to me in a tiny little house pulled by super start-up Uber.
So on Sunday, Nov. 8, Chicago food delivery will be turned upside down with a one of a kind experience, when grandmas in Uber-pulled tiny homes hit the streets to deliver free sausage meals. Umm, yes please. (comfort food delivery is always a good idea)
Johnsonville is partnering with Uber to have Italian grandmas, Nonna’s, deliver free sausage lunch and dinner favorites. Rolling through Chicago in tiny homes hitched to the back of an Uber, the Nonnas will bring piping hot meals from their kitchen to yours. Upon arrival, the Sausage Nonna will set your table and leave you to enjoy the dish of your choice.
To request a Nonna-made meal, users can simply select the “Sausage Nonna” option from Uber’s home screen and track their delivery as the tiny house icon nears. (see below)
What a fun way to engage with your customer. I love what the Nonna’s are wearing too. Classic Italian. Retro Chic!
Happy Eating Chicago Fashionistas!
